blog 6

There are still many books and things about the holocaust, because if we just stop retelling it then everyine will forget everything about it. If we forget about it, then we might forget about it and do the same mistake again. If we forget about it, and retell it just through stories, it might become a folktale that no one cares about. if the holocaust turns into a folktale then it would be just like a normal story, if people think of the holocaust as normal story, then the intensity and sorrow for the jews at that time will be lost, and poeple won't take it seriously anymore. This serious and extreme event might turn into a little story.

I agree with your "blog 6" where you stated if we stop retelling, people will forget about the tragic that had happened and it will haen again. I think it is a good thing that people are repeating the holocaust making so many books because it shouldnt happen, people geting killed with out a significant reason.

Haha if,if,if,if,if,if,if,if,if. phunny.
Anyway I agree with what you wrote about the process of 'real story' turning in to a ‘folk tale.' I think that in order for people to remember about the holocaust people should have some kind of picture to show that it is real...hehheh. We should all remember about millions of innocent people.

Wow,
As Christine said there are several ifs :)
Well, that’s true. Ms. Johnson said that there are actually people who think that Holocaust is just a made up story. However, we just know that there are enough facts that prove that Holocaust really did happen. As you said, if it’s not passed down, this horrible but amazing event might just disappear. That wouldn’t be pleasant would it? Also I think the way people show it in movies, books and other stuff is maybe since no one will actually read textbook when they get old, so maybe those factors help people to get more familiar with that topic? :) Well, great job!
